Arrange a screening

Would you like to bring “The Volunteers” to your community?

Screenings are free for all mountain rescue units, search and rescue groups, and volunteer Emergency Medical Services organizations, as well as for groups that promote civic volunteerism, such as Rotary Clubs, for Austrian-American or German-American cultural associations, for religious organizations, for student outdoor groups, and for universities and high schools for educational purposes. Lesson plans for high school and university teachers are available free of charge for a range of student levels and interests.

Three versions of “The Volunteers: Mountain Rescue Brings Us Home” are available: a 56-minute broadcast cut (currently playing on PBS), a trim 86-minute cut (currently streaming on Prime Video), and a 106-minute director’s cut. The versions grow thematically more complex and multi-layered with each length. We can supply a simple .mp4 file at 4K, 2K, or 1080p, a streaming option with a private, password-protected link, or a DCP with full 5.1 surround audio (which sounds amazing!). Versions are available with English-only subtitles, with German-only subtitles, with mixed German/English subtitles, or with Spanish subtitles, with an option for English or German closed captions. A Chinese version, with dubbed narration in Mandarin, will be available soon.
